A Frontline Performance Group Performance Manager is passionate about developing front line staff in sales improvement and customer service. This pivotal role partners with other members of the client management team to assess skill levels, identify areas for improvement and deliver daily coaching at the client location.
Our successful Performance Managers come from consulting, retail, car rental, hospitality, leisure and tourism backgrounds and have in depth experience in sales. They are highly adept at training and coaching a sales staff to meet and exceed established goals. They are motivational and inspiring people, with great relationship building skills and good business acumen. They have the ability to identify issues and create solutions.
As an FPG Performance Manager, you will spend most of your time:
Coaching sales staff to develop required sales skill sets
Motivating, educating and empowering sales staff to meet and exceed goals
Managing successful client relationships
Working with clients to implement client specific sales content and techniques
Documenting coaching plans and highlighting key wins and focus areas on a regular basis
Giving feedback in a timely and professional manner, both written and verbal
Maintaining high levels of motivation, professionalism, skill set discipline and morale through coaching – lead by example
Desired Skills and Experience
Demonstrated understanding of consultative sales and ability to teach these skills to others
Understanding of sales theory and techniques; strong sales coaching and sales education coupled with experience in delivering custom-developed curriculum for sales skill development
Ability to quickly learn and apply industry, product, and sales process knowledge.
Maintain industry and product knowledge to effectively and confidently respond to questions
Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic and demanding sales environment
Meet organizational standards regarding professionalism, availability, attendance and punctuality
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent education and work-related experience in sales performance management
2+ years of experience in a leadership role
Management of direct customer contact, employee relations, budget and P&L review
Ability to exercise sound judgment and make prudent decisions
Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport across organization with peers, subordinates and supervisors, both written and verbal; Bilingual skills a plus.
Strong team-oriented leadership skills and proven track record in management role
Working knowledge of reporting systems, including computer programs, reports, policies and procedures
Sales presentation skills with the ability to speak in front of large groups
