Vistage has an immediate need for a poised, empathetic leader to facilitate Executive peer groups, and provide one to one coaching to CEOs in San Diego, CA.

The focus of this role is making connections with people. As a Vistage Chair your primary responsibility will be motivating and inspiring people to achieve results personally and professionally. You will lead local CEOs who are looking to more effectively manage the growth of their businesses, become better leaders, make better decisions and achieve better results.

Utilizing strong initiative and self-direction, Vistage Chairs drive towards results by enrolling the commitment and buy-in of local business leaders. They possess sincere appreciation for the dilemmas executives face and how each individual is uniquely motivated. This appreciation is the foundation for designing and implementing interactive communication and decision-making processes.

The role requires a high degree of selling, is fast-paced and results oriented. The ideal candidate possesses a self-confident, extroverted style that can enliven, engage and positively impact individuals and groups. The role of a Vistage Chair has a variety of tasks and is dynamic and changing. Because goals and desired results can quickly change, the role requires regularly meeting and proactively establishing relationships with new partners. The ability to understand, quickly react and motivate others to adapt to the changing organization environment is a critical key to success.

In general, the core of this position requires a motivated and motivating team builder and organization developer.

Desired Skills & Experience:
· Knowledge and skill in how to successfully influence and persuade others by understanding individual needs and motivations link to goals
· Ability to commit 30+ hours a week to building a entrepreneurial venture
· 4-6 months of financial runway
· Business experience as a Founder, Owner, CEO, President, COO, Chairman of the Board, Principal or Managing Partner
· Prior experience managing full responsibility for a P&L of at least $5MM
· Advanced emotional intelligence and self-awareness
· Coaching, active listening, and facilitation skills
