_______________________________________CGI is currently hiring a Sr. Change Manager and Strategist with solid Oil and Gas background in Houston, Texas, (downtown location), to be a Transformational Change Management leader that can break barriers and eliminate waste for our global Oil and Gas Clients.

The Sr. Change Manager needs to be an operationally focused leader with a unique blend of strategic planning, change management, and process improvement expertise.
The Sr. Change Manager has the overall goals of providing our clients with Strategy and organizational development solutions, Change management strategies, and guide them to Business excellence.
The Change Manager should providing a holistic corporate view and deep understanding of the effective use of organizational development solutions to drive business performance and operational excellence. A successful Change Manager should also demonstrated a long term track record in implementing large-scale change initiatives that drive business results.
The main goal of the Sr.Change Manager/Strategist is to serve as an executive coach to upper management and work closely with management and the leadership teams to establish a shared vision and strategy for the organization. The Change Manager should also support the team with building an Organizational Capability matrix to execute the vision and strategy. This work has included the following:
Building a cohesive leadership team through building relationships, shared experiences and tackling tough issues
Defining the culture and supporting values to drive high performance and innovation
Defining the leadership model and behaviors to support the culture change
Ensuring organizational clarity and alignment through recurring focus and cascading of direction
Defining a clear vision of program success
Creating alignment on requirements for success
Creating Team Performance Agreements
Making the team want to commit to drive toward higher levels of performance
Aligning the entire team on the shared view of program success
Clarify program interdependencies and gaps
Determine quick wins that equaled results
Definine a new structure to solve program challenges
Coach program and team leaders on leadership behaviors to ensure alignment with the high performance culture.
In addition, other responsibilities include facilitating team meetings, conducting stakeholder engagements, and developing a communication strategy for various project deployments.
The successful Change Manager must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop strong relationships with management, to understand their needs, and then devise business solutions with clear value propositions.
The Change Manager must be able to incorporate data-based-decisions integrated with the business excellence elements of organizational design and alignment, work processes, roles and responsibilities, leadership communications, and team alignment.
Tasks:
Actively participate in relevant meetings to raise and that release information needing to redeploy to stakeholders
Provide expert knowledge on communications/change messages/updates/plans, input to presentation structure
Support BPM with quarterly forecast for training
Deployment of the communications calendar in the business / OUs
(including new releases (policies, FfV, SharePoint upgrades, etc.))
Provide (input on) requirements for communication, engagement, and learning materials / activities
Review communication, engagement and training materials.
Support BPM with business stakeholder engagement: Stakeholder identification, planning, and measurement.
Facilitate business review / validation for key materials
Analyze change measurement outcomes / training dashboard and define corrective action plans
(lessons learned / gaps / issues / opportunities for improvement)
Soft Skills required:
• Tough personality; able to give feedback and if needed pushback.
• Hands on person in change & communications
• Work with central team and manage communication from central team to Engineering around aftercare.
• result driven” and “delivery focused
• Excellent writing skills. Candidates will need to provide samples in the interview.
• Solid understanding of SharePoint (from a user perspective, not development)
• Technical writing experience – needs to have a good understanding of IT terminology and concepts
• Global Oil and Gas experience required (upstream)
• Data migration experience (preferred but not required)
Education:
BS Degree in Human Resources with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior or Development/Design, Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, English Degree or a Communications Degree
Master’s Degree or MBA a plus
Change Management Certifications strongly preferred
Six Sigma certification strongly preferred
PMP Certification strongly preferred
