    Job Description

    RiseSmarts Executive Transition service is an alternative to traditional Executive Outplacement – it is an effective and efficient transition management solution focused on what transitioning executives need most: a new job.

    The Executive Career Coach is responsible for supporting via telephone and email RiseSmarts Executive Clients through their career transition. The Executive Career Coach will also act as liaison to other RiseSmart service providers including resume writers, job search specialists and technical support. In addition, the Executive Career Coach is responsible for expertly coaching clients on their job search strategy and providing them services including mock interviews, interview preparation, offer evaluation and salary negotiation coaching, information on networking best practices and other support as requested.

    Desired Skills
    8 years experience coaching C-Level Executives through all aspects of career transition
    Executive Peer Experience
    Diverse professional background including corporate experience (in addition to coaching background)
    Bachelors Degree a must, Master degree strongly desired
    Advanced coaching certifications strongly desired

    Job Summary

     

    Companies purchase our relocation solutions for their employees who are moving to other cities for their jobs.  The Career Coach serves as the primary point of contact and coach throughout the transition.  The Career Coach supports our clients’ employees and their spouses/families as they acclimate to new cities.  The coach also assists the spouse or partner with finding employment in the new city by providing coaching on career planning, networking, LinkedIn use, resume development, interviewing and negotiating skills.

     

     

    Job duties

     

    • ŸMaintains proactive, contact with assigned recipients via phone, email and meetings.
    • Correctly assesses and addresses transitional and/or job search needs.
    • Works directly with Résumé and Research departments to ensure services provided meet identified needs.
    • Responsible for achieving quality results throughout the relationship with assigned recipients; responds to and incorporates quality assurance feedback in fostering professional growth.
    • Incorporates time management techniques and balances program delivery demands to effectively service all recipients.
    • Supports Team Lead in effective oversight of recipient service delivery; provides feedback and input into processes.
    • Provides guidance and peer feedback to department members.
    • Leads by example; demonstrates support of company mission and policies.
    • Maintains labor market knowledge of the Seattle, WA area.
    • Acts as subject matter expert on relocation issues for internal process improvement and sales presentations as needed.
    • Performs other duties as required.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • ŸBachelor’s in a discipline involving the study of human behavior, counseling, business or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
    • Coaching certification or training highly regarded.
    • Minimum of three years of experience with career coaching including career exploration, resume development, interview preparation, etc.
