    Desired Skills and Experience

    Learning Coach – The Person

    Ability to influence and communicate at a senior Level e.g. Site GM
    Track record of influencing and leading change in large scale operational or commercial teams
    Ability to coach at senior leader Level (ideally holding coaching accreditation)
    Holds a professional qualification in a psychometric or equivalent (coaching or delivery etc)
    Ability to confidently and effectively deliver large group learning experiences
    Strong underpinning knowledge of learning models and methodology
    Previous experience of designing learning materials would be beneficial
    Inspirational communication – verbal and written, delivered with enthusiasm and impact
    Ability to manage themselves effectively, work across multiple locations and manage multiple workstreams

    POSITION SUMMARY

    DailyBurn is the leading online streaming workout subscription service. This fall, DailyBurn will offer personalized online fitness and nutrition coaching to its users. We are seeking qualified nutrition and/or fitness experts to work directly with our subscribers to help them achieve their individual fitness goals.

    Coaches will interact with clients through various forms of electronic communication (email, online chat, etc.) and can work from their homes in one of the following states on a part-time basis: Alabama, California, Colorado, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, or Texas. Ideal candidates will have a strong track record of health, wellness, personal training and/or nutrition experience working directly with clients. Coaches will also collaborate with the Director of Coaching Recruitment, Training, and Administration to provide feedback on this new product.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    REQUIREMENTS

    • For fitness experts, candidates must be certified by at least one of the leading accredited fitness organizations, such as ACE, NASM, ACSM, or CSCS/CPT (NSCA)
    • For nutrition experts, candidates must have at least one of the following certifications: CN, CDN, RD, CD, CNS, CSSD
    • For other health experts, candidates must hold a license or certification in any of the following: RD, RN, Health Educator, Exercise Physiology, or health coaching
    • Must work a minimum of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 30 hours per week
    • Must live in one of the following states: Alabama, California, Colorado, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, or Texas

    DESIRED SKILLS

    • At least 5 years in the fitness, nutrition, or health field, preferably in a coaching capacity
    • A demonstrated ability to assess a client’s readiness for change and monitor progress throughout a coaching relationship
    • A track record of utilizing empathy and motivational coaching techniques to sustain a supportive environment where subscribers are empowered to overcome challenges and achieve health & fitness-related goals
    • A demonstrated ability to tailor coaching and support a diverse base of clients
    • Experience using internet-based tools and software such Google Docs, Dropbox and chat software

    Job summary

    • Five years’ experience in sales.
    • Business consulting, coaching and/or training, with a focus on sales and/or operations with documented history of meeting or exceeding sales goals and revenue targets.
    • Multi-unit and multi-state experience, with a preference and ability for heavy travel, up to 80%.
