    A Day-in-the-Life Of a Personal Financial Coach

    • Build and maintain client bases, keeping current client plans up-to-date and recruiting new clients on an ongoing basis.
    • Contact clients periodically to determine if there have been changes in their financial status.
    • Devise debt liquidation plans that include debt settlement services, debt payoff priorities and timelines.
    • Explain and document for clients the types of services that are to be provided, and the responsibilities to be taken by the personal financial advisor.
    • Explain to individuals and groups the details of financial assistance available to college and university students, such as loans, grants, and scholarships.
    • Guide clients in the gathering of information such as bank account records, income tax returns, life and disability insurance records, pension plan information, and wills.
    • Help clients to create financial planning recommendations and refer clients to someone who can assist them with plan implementation.
    • Interview clients to determine their current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, and other information needed to develop a financial plan.
    • Monitor financial market trends to ensure that plans are effective, and to identify any necessary updates.
    • Prepare and interpret for clients information such as investment performance reports, financial document summaries, and income projections.
    • Recommend strategies clients can use to achieve their financial goals and objectives, including specific recommendations in such areas as cash management, insurance coverage, and investment planning.
    • Research and investigate available investment opportunities to determine whether they fit into financial plans.
    • Analyze financial information obtained from clients to determine strategies for meeting clients’ financial objectives.
    • Answer clients’ questions about the purposes and details of financial plans and strategies.
    • Review clients’ accounts and plans regularly to determine whether life changes, economic changes, or financial performance indicate a need for plan reassessment.
    • Sell financial products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and insurance if licensed to do so.
    • Collect information from students to determine their eligibility for specific financial aid programs.
    • Conduct seminars and workshops on financial planning topics such as retirement planning, estate planning, and the evaluation of severance packages.
    • Contact clients’ creditors to arrange for payment adjustments so that payments are feasible for clients and agreeable to creditors.
    • Determine amounts of aid to be granted to students, considering such factors as funds available, extent of demand, and financial needs.
    • Meet with clients’ other advisors, including attorneys, accountants, trust officers, and investment bankers, to fully understand clients’ financial goals and circumstances.
    • Open accounts for clients, and disburse funds from account to creditors as agents for clients.
    • Authorize release of financial aid funds to students.
    • Participate in the selection of candidates for specific financial aid awards.

    Role Description

    You will be part of the Learning & Development Function responsible for maximizing sales performance. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of our ‘Coaching for Performance’ program which aims to build a strong coaching culture and capability across our sales management group. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

    Responsibilities

    • Drive the implementation of ServiceSource ‘Coaching for Performance’ program from CNA, through adoption to certification of individuals and teams.
    • Support the development of coaching skills across the sales manager group through observation, delivering real time feedback and coach the coach sessions.
    • Schedule 1:1, team and peer group coaching sessions across all management tiers to drive best practice sales and leadership behaviors.
    • Training and certify others to deliver sales territory reviews, skills coaching and development coaching conversations with direct reports and peers.
    • Lead high impact coaching skills training workshops and group coaching sessions.
    • Partner with learning and development team to build coaching collateral and tool-kits
    • Partner with Local Sales Center Head to drive a clear coaching focus on addressing current business and organizational issues.

    The Sr. Change Manager needs to be an operationally focused leader with a unique blend of strategic planning, change management, and process improvement expertise.

    The Change Manager should providing a holistic corporate view and deep understanding of the effective use of organizational development solutions to drive business performance and operational excellence.     The main goal of the Sr.Change Manager/Strategist is to serve as an executive coach to upper management and work closely with management and the leadership teams to establish a shared vision and strategy for the organization.     The Change Manager must be able to incorporate data-based-decisions integrated with the business excellence elements of organizational design and alignment, work processes, roles and responsibilities, leadership communications, and team alignment.
    Tasks:
    Actively participate in relevant meetings to raise and that release information needing to redeploy to stakeholders
    Provide expert knowledge on communications/change messages/updates/plans, input to presentation structure
    Support BPM with quarterly forecast for training
    Deployment of the communications calendar in the business / OUs
    (including new releases (policies, FfV, SharePoint upgrades, etc.))
    Provide (input on) requirements for communication, engagement, and learning materials / activities
    Review communication, engagement and training materials.
    Support BPM with business stakeholder engagement: Stakeholder identification, planning, and measurement.
    Facilitate business review / validation for key materials
    Analyze change measurement outcomes / training dashboard and define corrective action plans

    Soft Skills required:
    • Tough personality; able to give feedback and if needed pushback.
    • Hands on person in change & communications
    • Work with central team and manage communication from central team to Engineering around aftercare.

    Education:
    BS Degree in Human Resources with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior or Development/Design, Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, English Degree or a Communications Degree

    Change Management Certifications strongly preferred
    Six Sigma certification strongly preferred
    PMP Certification strongly preferred
