    Requirements and responsibilities

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

    Boeing South Carolina (BSC) has a new and unique opening for a leadership coach at our BSC site in North Charleston, South Carolina. You will provide expert-level leadership coaching to Boeing South Carolina (BSC) Manufacturing and Support Operations leaders and teams, strengthening leadership capabilities, team effectiveness and inspiring leaders to maximize their potential. Support Senior Management and First Line Leaders by conducting 1:1 coaching sessions, delivering leadership skill development training, reinforcing learning with follow-on coaching, observing leaders in action to deepen their learning and support their actions for personal and professional growth. Knowledgeable in using assessments, evaluations, and multi-source feedback as a means of supporting individual and team growth and development. Ability to organize, lead and complete special projects within challenging deadlines. Serve as a coach and mentor for business leaders and fellow practitioners, apply process improvement techniques to continuously improve the BSC Leadership Coaching Program. Use problem-solving, analytical, negotiation skills and organizational effectiveness skills to create innovative solutions while collaborating with leaders and HR business partners to implement strategies and plans to expand the leadership pipeline. Strong facilitation skills in a group environment, a service-oriented and collaborative approach, process discipline, and a systems-thinking mindset are considered core and critical competencies. This new position will report through the Strategy and Integration HR team at BSC and will partner closely with HRGs.

    Candidates should have a proven record demonstrating the skills of leading groups, individuals and projects, effective communication and presentation abilities, sound decision-making, flexibility and team-building along with professional integrity and demonstrated business acumen. Understanding of airplane assembly/manufacturing processes is considered advantageous, and candidates should have the ability to understand and influence the entire value stream. The team requires flexibility to support a 24-hour operation.

    International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification is preferred. Successful completion with certification of an ICF-accredited coach training program is required. Advanced degree in Organization Development, Counseling, Management or related field strongly preferred.
