We are looking for Business Improvement Specialists to work with us to deliver coaching, consulting and support to SME owners. You will be working directly with your own portfolio of SME owners and will benefit from extensive initial and ongoing support from us.
Role description
This role is self-employed with OTE of £60-£80k well within reach inside 12 months of joining. We don’t have geographic restrictions so we encourage you to work close to home.
Key activities of the roll include:
- 1:1 coaching of SME business owners
- Running local Pro-actions Business Briefings to inform, educate, and ultimately acquire prospect clients
- Running Workshops for groups of SME business owners
- Working with your regional associates to build networks among SME business owners and key introducers (banks, local authorities, professional bodies etc).
You will receive extensive initial and ongoing support from Pro-actions including:
- Residential induction, training and personalised development follow up
- 1:1 engagement with your regional director whose role is to ensure your success
- A defined and proven model to help you build networks, convert prospects, and deliver to clients
- Centralised brand building, marketing and event co-ordination for you to leverage
- Assistance in developing your own structured business plans to get you established and keep you challenged!
Desired Skills and Experience
This is predominantly a coaching and mentoring role.
You will need strong skills in coaching and mentoring disciplines, questioning and active listening. Solid business development and presentation skills will also be advantageous.
You will also need a firm working knowledge of and feel for the areas listed below. We will help you develop these, but the more comfortable you are, the easier your transition and build up will be.
- Marketing, lead generation and sales process
- Defining and interpreting management information and KPIs
- Business planning and budgeting
- Cash and profitability management
- Team building and structuring
- Time management and personal effectiveness
- Systems thinking – seeing the business as a whole
