    What you’ll need as a Performance Coach

    The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you’ll need a good knowledge and understanding of

    performance management tools and techniques, backed with experience in coaching business leaders to drive performance through team members. Your background in the delivery of effective training and presentations at senior levels will be as important as your outstanding people management and leadership skills

    3. Interview: If you’re successful at assessment we’ll invite you to attend a face-to-face interview. We want you to be free to choose an interview time that suits you, so we’ll provide some options and ask you to select your preferred timeslot via an online booking system.
    4. Outcome: Following your interview, we’ll be in touch within five working days from all interviews being completed to advise you of the outcome.

    About the team

    The National Strategic Bids and Sales Team is a well-regarded team with the remit to imbed a sales culture within the firm. The team plays a vital internal independent consulting role maximising the firm sales effectiveness.

    The team does this by building strong working relationships with our Partners and their teams and providing advice and guidance on sales strategy and sales execution.

    Our diverse and challenging remit includes:

    • Supporting the business to develop and execute sales plans for Service Lines, Industry Groups and Strategic Accounts.
    • Directly supporting the firm’s growth strategy through identification and targeting of major opportunities and the execution of pursuit strategies.

    About the role
    Reporting directly to the National Head of Strategic Bids and Sales, you will coach and support the largest, most critical Sydney led pursuits with the occasional national and global opportunity.

    You will work closely with partners across their entire sales cycle from identification and qualification of opportunities, through development and execution of the pursuit strategy to win more than our fair share of engagements.

    You will work closely with colleagues in the National Strategic accounts and Marketing Communications to provide the firm’s Strategic Accounts with coaching and support to increase win rate and improve sales effectiveness.

    You will also have a major role in the on-going development and delivery of the Deloitte Sales Culture initiatives; facilitating internal development programs, coaching the firm’s leadership on sales strategy and sales management and take an active role in the planning and targeting of our highest profile opportunities.

    You will need the discipline to work independently and the flexibility to be a contributing team member.

    About your experience

    Above all, you will have a deep understanding of the sales process, sales management coaching and leadership and a proven track record of leading winning sales teams through large complex engagements.

    Ideally you will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in enterprise level sales in Professional Services (mandatory); with a completed tertiary education in a relevant discipline. Most importantly, you are experienced and confident sales professional with a strong track record of success in executing winning sales strategies and the ability to forge strong working relationships and coaching and leading senior executives.

    You will have extensive experience in working with a variety of contributors to develop creative, innovative and compelling presentations and supporting proposal materials in a high-stakes environment.

    • Ensuring compliance and quality of sale including high-level coaching expertise and extra learning tools
    • Working with employees and employers to identify areas of improvement and create/execute improvement plans going forward
    • Ensuring you possess and maintain a high level of knowledge of processes and the education and training offerings of the company’s providers
    • Maintaining usage of standard template emails and marketing material in accordance with the company and their providers’ guidelines
    • Using internal technology and systems in the correct manner in keeping with all training manuals and documents provided
    • Achieving KPI’s

    Desired skills and experience:
