The mandate of the L&D Coach is to act as a facilitator and coach, while ensuring skills are not only being trained, but also retained and applied. The L&D Coach may support multiple sales business units and will need to be focused and adaptive to the new environment(s) he/she embraces. Intended for someone who is a team player and seeks personal growth, this role requires awareness of business strategy to ensure his/her coaching and facilitation reflect business goals.

    Primary Duties And Responsibilities

    • The L&D Coach will be responsible for delivering training via live (and virtual) forums as required. In addition, he/she will be responsible for coaching a variety of sales associates to ensure skills are applied and business metrics are being supported. Coaching sessions may also need to be conducted in a remote or virtual environment.
    • Utilization of technologies to support virtual classroom and/or coaching forums. Keeping up to date with employed technologies (e.g. Adobe Connect, WebEx, use of WebCams) Responsible for testing and evaluating new tools. Responsible for post-training surveys.
    • Understands and employs training and coaching methodologies, knowledge of Adult Learning principles.
    • Implements cost-saving measures by recommending and developing efficient processes, completes all necessary pre-work/set-up ahead of time.
    • Work closely with the Learning & Development Learning Advisor and Senior Manager to ensure the content is relevant for the needs of the business; Trains a variety of sales associates/job roles and adjusts accordingly.
    • Accountable for supporting coaching initiatives. Understands basics of learning transfer principles and is results-focused.
    • Willingness to travel. Able to facilitate sessions in a variety of locations, as required
    • Understand the business/skills to ensure that they are credible with key examples and case studies within that discipline

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • Availability and willingness for significant travel in your region (i.e. up to 2-3 days per week), as dictated by business need
    • Flexible and adaptive; energetic and enjoys a fast-paced learning environment
    • Demonstrated multi-tasking/organizational and project planning skills are necessary
    • Proficiency in MS Office. Advanced level skill in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Effective at collaborating within team environment, across business units and levels
    • Strong facilitation and overall communication skills
    • Ability to influence, build strong relationships and interact positively as an effective facilitator

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Ability to travel as required

    The coaching position for which we are hiring conducts ongoing, one-on-one telephone coaching sessions with clients assigned to them by the company.     Qualifications

    • Successfully completed a coach training program recognized by the Center for Credentialing and Education and/or International Coaching Federation
    • Possess a minimum of 2 years coaching experience
    • Demonstrated success in his or her career and possess a strong educational background, including a bachelors degree or higher
    • Has a flexible schedule and ability to commit up to 20-25 hours of coaching time per week to Fruition Coaching
    • Has or are able to set up a private professional office environment with a land-line phone
    • Feels confident in his or her ability to coach all types of people in all areas of life
    • Board Certification and ICF certification are strong pluses but not required
