We are seeking a Executive & Leadership Development Coach to establish the leadership development strategy in alignment with the organization’s business strategy and the broader learning and development strategy. The Executive & Leadership Development Coach will work to drive a leadership culture by stratifying and overseeing the development, execution and evaluation of system-wide leadership development, in an effort to continuously improve the leadership culture, business outcomes and organizational performance. In addition, the Leadership Development Coach will be responsible for system-wide development and implementation of models, tools, and training to enhance the organization’s leadership capability to drive results. The Leadership Development Coach will partner Human Resources Leadership Team, Business / Functional leaders, the Head of L&D and Head of Talent Management to build a comprehensive leadership development strategy and operational plan to ensure the organization’s leadership are modeling principles that create a high-performance organization.

In this position you will:

  • Develop and deliver a business focused leadership development strategy, architecture for the strategy, systems and processes to implement, to ensure company has the leadership capability to drive greater business results and growth.
  • Refresh, Enhance and Develop an integrated leadership development curriculum that accomplishes desired leadership capability from the on-boarding of new managers through the supervisor / manager, director / vice president, senior vice president and senior executive levels of the organization.
  • Execute the leadership development strategy through a blend of formal classroom learning, online, coaching/mentoring, on-the-job development and other innovative practices.
  • Assess the organization to determine leadership strengths and gaps.
  • Provide direction and support to human resources business partners for building leadership and management capability within the business units / functions.
  • Work collaboratively with talent management to ensure that leadership development processes and programs are embedded and practiced.
  • Research, evaluate, and leverage best practices of other organizations to expand the quality and accessibility of leadership development to target audiences.
  • Create, administer and analyze Leadership Development post-event evaluations; contribute to executive summaries and track report on trends.
  • Manages key vendor relationships for programs including material, invoices and related contractual commitments.
  • Facilitate core programs as needed.
  • Conduct 360 Assessments

Job Requirements *
Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Org Behavior, or equivalent coupled with at least 3 years as a human resources professional with specialized mastery in leadership development, leadership assessment, program design and delivery, competency development, and learning effectiveness measurement/analysis. Experience in stratifying best-in-class leadership development that yields increased employee engagement and demonstrated business outcomes. Excellent communication skills; effective presentation and facilitation skills; ability to communicate with external partners and all levels of management, including senior management; ability to relate and communicate with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds. Experience working with outside vendors and top-tier universities in crafting org-specific leadership development experiences. Project Management skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks / projects with minimal supervision. Experience working directly with top-tier executives on development initiatives. Certification in leadership assessments, psychometrics, and development tools with experience in identifying high potential leaders.

Preferred qualifications for this position include: • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Org Behavior, or equivalent • At least 3 years as a human resources professional with specialized mastery in leadership development, leadership assessment, program design and delivery, competency development, and learning effectiveness measurement/analysis • Certification / experience in executive coaching.

Executive Coaching: Will work one-on-one with employees in leadership roles. The focus will be on
identifying strengths and weaknesses and developing specific strategies to improve performance capacity in the current role and preparation for higher levels of responsibility.

Talent Management & Succession Planning for the design and development of integrated strategies or systems intended to increase workplace productivity by developing improved processes for attracting, developing, retaining and utilizing people with the required skills and aptitude to meet current and future business needs.
