Job Summary:

As the Development Consultant Associate Director, you’ll provide the highest level of facilitation, change management, coaching and other organizational effectiveness (OE) consulting for all practices in a designated geographic area or service line. Specifically this position will support the People Advisory Services Practice. You’ll assist in implementation of the people strategy and set priorities accordingly. You’ll apply superior knowledge of Human Resource programs and processes to facilitate implementations that fully meet business and people needs.

This position receives general direction rather than supervision, and work is reviewed for results achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a lead in the geographic area or service line for facilitation, change management consulting, training, communications, organizational listening and other organizational effectiveness consulting and support
May serve as an executive coach in the geography. Provide individual and team coaching and training in areas such as counselor support/ training, mentoring and team effectiveness
Coordinate with other people team members including, People Team Leaders, Inclusiveness and Flexibility Leaders and People Consultants to understand the needs and effectively support specific businesses and people
Surface learning needs, communicate and collaborate with Learning Consultants
Serve as a key resource for information, programs and processes developed in the Learning and Development and other Centers of Excellence
Provide career coaching support for leaders, as requested
Provide input and often develop communications targeted for employees and leaders
Possess deep knowledge in own area; duties are varied and also require a broad knowledge base to perform
Highly seasoned and recognized for their deep knowledge within and outside the business unit. Is “at the table” with management and influences when key business issues are discussed affecting their employee population
Often acts as a project coordinator for large projects or oversees significant portions of major or highly complex projects
Usually has responsibility for subordinate specialist staff. Technical knowledge may be a substitute for managerial responsibility

To qualify, candidates must have:

Experience

A minimum of 10-12 years related work experience

Education

Advanced degree or equivalent work experience
Certifications preferred in firm-approved programs/tools such as MBTI, Fierce Conversations, Consulting Skills, Coaching Conversations for Consultants, etc.
