Head of Talent & Succession for MBPS & MTS
  • Implement talent strategies/initiatives to achieve business objectives in line with the overall firm Group Strategy
  • Create solutions for key stakeholder needs by collaborating with executive business leaders to establish desired succession plans and management of priority talent through to Talent Pools
  • Partner with local HR and Leadership & Learning teams to facilitate the process of identifying and assessing high potential talent and administering programs to track, monitor and foster participants’ continued advancement, as well as identification of critical roles for succession planning
  • Optimize the impact of strategic talent management programs by applying in-depth knowledge to develop appropriate metrics, tracking mechanisms and reporting structures to build accountability and accurately measure results; manage talent data via internal systems and databases
  • Facilitate the development and retention of high potential talent by managing end-to-end talent management processes through coordinating and conducting pre-hire selection, post hire developmental and potential assessments, delivering feedback, facilitating management of development plans and sourcing developmental activities, as required
  • Manage vendor relationships as appropriate including external coaches and development resources
  • Manage budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements
  • Contribute to a positive environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and guiding leaders to take greater accountability for talent, ensuring a focus on diversity and inclusion in talent practicesEE
 
Qualifications

 

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Human Resourece Management
  • Organizational Psychology
Experience
  • Experience in a similar talent role working with senior leaders in a large organization
  • Desirable International Coach Federation (ICF) or comparable certification, Hogan Assessment Certification
  • Psychometric assessments certifications (Personality tools, 360s, etc.)
Knowledge
  • Talent Management best practices
  • Succession planning programs and methodologies
  • Talent management programs and initiatives
  • Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of other Asian languages will be an advantage
  • Apply project management methodology and techniques to manage projects
  • Manage individuals to support career development planning outcomes
  • Conduct gap analysis of current state and desired future state for talent and succession management activities
  • Develop specific, realistic goals and plans for succession planning
  • Collaborate with people at different levels within the organization to accomplish shared goals
  • Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills to influence and persuade decision makers to take ownership and action

  • High attention to detail and organization skills to manage a broad portfolio of talent activities and timelines
  • Coach others by providing timely, candid performance feedback and working to build and facilitate meaningful development plans
