Under limited supervision, provides non-clinical instruction, skills enrichment, and support to new nurse graduates participating in the Project Connect program. Proactively works with program participants to ensure a smooth transition from student to working professional. System-based position.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. 1-3 years of experience in counseling, education, social work, or human resources. Successful history of coaching or counseling; group management experience preferred. Firm knowledge of adult learning priciples necessary. Hospital/academic exp preferred. Microsoft Office Suite, Basic computer skills, Cerner, Synquest, Standard Office Equipment, Medical terminology, Critical thinking skills, Demonstration and validation of skills, Presentation skills using a variety of methods. One to three years of experience.
