Purpose of Role

The Senior Business Coach/ Facilitator plays a central role within the Talent Development department within Grant Thornton UK LLP. The Business Coach/Facilitator will be responsible for delivering learning programmes and coaching; which demonstrate improved business performance and are best in class, stretching interventions. These interventions will include delivering workshops and one to one and group coaching.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitors quality and relevance of design and delivery of all learning interventions and makes recommendations for improvement including evaluating other learning methods where appropriate
• Evaluates return on investment of programmes/interventions, assessing and judging non-financial as well as financial outcomes
• Delivers consistently to utilisation targets of 80% of time in learning and coaching interventions
• Provides support to, or manages areas of national People & Skills projects as required and undertakes other tasks as required to meet the demands of the business and supports Talent Development Specialists in ad hoc special projects

Experience

• Educated to degree level or above with a coaching qualification and NLP practitioners certificate
• Proven track record in the delivery of learning interventions/programmes (including development centres, learning, action learning sets, group and one to one coaching) appropriate for differing levels, including managers, directors and partners
• Significant practical experience of workshop and coaching delivery, including the use of effective blended learning strategies
• Good grounding in commercial awareness and strategic thinking with strong consulting, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
