Seeking talented educators to inspire the next generation!

TNTP seeks a full-time Leadership Coach for the New Teacher Effectiveness group in Bridgeport. This position is based in Bridgeport, CT and is available this summer.

Who We Are

TNTP is a national non-profit that has reimagined teaching. We believe great teaching is transformative and that teachers, more than any other factor in education, have the greatest impact on whether or not a student will succeed in school. We were founded by teachers and they are at the center of everything we do. Our mission is to end educational inequality by providing excellent teachers to students who need them most and by advancing policies and practices that ensure effective teaching happens in every classroom.

TNTP is partnering with Bridgeport Public Schools to support the district’s efforts to ensure every school is excellent for every child. TNTP will support critical work being done to provide the right support to teachers and leaders so that Bridgeport schools become places where all students succeed at high levels. Working with both teachers and school leaders, this two-tiered approach will allow TNTP to directly grow the talent of the teaching workforce while simultaneously developing school leaders’ instructional management skills. By supporting and ensuring high quality implementation of the district’s school support strategy, we believe targeted schools will see great improvement.
