The Recruiting Specialist (otherwise known as Talent Coach) serves as an advocate to the members of our community who are looking to start or grow their careers. The Talent Coach interviews candidates, helps determine the best career match for them, and coaches them to succeed in job interviews. This is a role for someone who loves people and truly, deeply cares about helping people find the right next step in their career.

You should come to the table with a solid understanding of recruiting and talent acquisition, an incredibly warm and caring personality, and a sense of urgency that matches a fast-growth startup. You’ll gain the experience of your lifetime working with all kinds of amazing, talented people in an extremely fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Interview talent via phone and video. Evaluate experience, skills, goals/objectives, and personality attributes to determine the best career match for them.
  • Help candidates create an awesome “talent profile” and polish their resume and personal brand online.
  • Prep talent for interviews by coaching them on what to expect and how to best represent themselves.
  • Develop and implement processes to perform this at scale.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail oriented.  You love process.
  • Some recruiting, staffing, or candidate sourcing, or talent acquisition experience is a must.
  • Familiarity with recruiting and sourcing best practices and legal requirements is a plus.
  • Team player ready for a startup roller coaster ride!
