    Position:  Franchise Business Coach

    Reports To:  Vice President, Field Operations

    POSITION PROFILE

    This position involves working closely with franchise owners in developing their business, improving their bottom line, and increasing our overall system revenues year-over-year. The ideal candidate will be a proven mentor or coach and be able to assist in marketing, business development, and general business operations. You will help franchise owners to plan and execute their marketing and sales strategies, in coordination with the overall corporate objectives. While much of your support and leadership will be offered from your home office, you will also visit each franchise owner during quarterly formal, standardized site visits, reviewing their operations and ensuring their strategies are executed and “on plan.” You must understand our Disclosure Document, franchisor and franchisee legal relationship, and be capable of enforcing the document.

    The position requires enthusiasm, a strong work ethic and great people skills, ambition and integrity. You are a talented, self-motivated individual who has a track record in setting objectives for sales and marketing strategies, and their individual tactical executions. Proven execution at the customer service level, coordinating communications and exchanging information across an organization is of paramount importance.

    This position will be home-based and will involve approximately five to ten travel days per month to our Canadian locations.

    DUTIES:

    • Oversee the setup of new franchisees and lead them to stable, profitable operation.
    • Maintain the activity plan of franchise development.
    • Conduct monthly performance review with Vice President, Field Operations.
    • Assist with new franchise training and opening support.
    • Assist in the development of focused advertising campaigns and marketing collateral (brochures, fliers, rack cards, etc.).
    • Travel to franchisee offices on a regular basis (minimum quarterly).
    • Provide operations leadership and coaching during formal, standardized site visits.
    • Complete site visit reports and share findings with the Vice President, Field Operations. Act on findings and recommendations of the site visit report as required.
    • Provide coaching/facilitate group workshops of operations issues when required.
    • Coach, lead and/or support franchise owners during scheduled visits or as requested by a franchise owner. Recognize and acknowledge successes.Share and encourage Retire-At-Home’s corporate vision.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of 5 years of sales and marketing, business development experience
    • Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or business required. MBA preferred
    • Exceptional writing and communication skills (English –  required, English and French –  preferred)
    • Superior commitment to customer service
    • Self-management and organizational skills
    • Creative thinking and problem solving skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Ability and willingness to travel and be flexible to work weekends and evenings when required
    • Focused on value-added selling

    The Director Executive Coaching & Development will have the opportunity to support the Executive Coaching & Development (EC&D) sales efforts in New Jersey, acting as a Subject Matter Expert and supporting all EC&D sales efforts in New Jersey. In addition, the qualified candidate will act as engagement manager for accounts in New Jersey and share accountability for managing BASF coaching activity. Overall the director will act as executive coach and consultant to business unit leaders. The incumbent of this position will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing EC&D consultants and continue to source and onboard new qualified consultants for New Jersey and other locations, as needed.

    This position can be based out of either the Parsippany or Princeton, NJ offices.
    Responsibilities:

    Delivery
    -Provide executive coaching to key clients. Twenty five percent of time is required for coaching delivery

    Engagement Management
    – Source and vet coaches for New Jersey and in markets where there are coaching needs. Screen prospective coaches and edit bios according to EC&D standards
    These are mostly in domestic geographies but from time to time these can also be international locations
    – Support BASF coaching activities around the North America footprint: source, screen & vet coaches, act as engagement manager for selected coaches, act as SME for GLF, Assimilation, Team workshops, Transfer Session. Participate in internal and client update phone calls, Invoice for engagements bi-weekly.
    – Act as engagement manager for select accounts
    Supporting EC&D sales efforts
    – Write coaching and related proposals in accordance with EC&D practice standards. Seek out approval from Managing Director for variances to standard practice and pricing
    – Take opportunities to seek out speaking engagements at either Ayers events or outside related organizations on talent management topics
    – Participate in sales calls and presentations with sales people to position EC&D services

    Market To & Manage NJ Accounts
    – Integrate leadership challenges and opportunities into potential EC&D service offerings. Involve SME consultants and coaches as needed to pitch services, write proposals.
    When sold, organize the commencement of services, contract with coaches/consultants, manage invoicing process, and act as an engagement manager over various projects. This includes generating monthly reports of activity.
    – Provide executive coaching and related services to select leaders
    – Participate in chemistry meetings with potential coach leaders
    – Coach in assimilation, high potential development and occasionally in a remedial situation.
    Depending on capability also provide 360° feedback, work with teams and or other related OD assignments

    Desired Skills and Experience

    Qualifications:
    – The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, an advanced degree plus a minimum of five to eight years of executive coaching and/or consulting experience in organizational development services.
    – Master’s degree in organizational development a plus.
    – 3 – 5 years organizational development experience holding a corporate position preferred
    – Previous background in human resources (i.e. talent management, training and organizational development, etc.), executive coaching, team building consulting services highly preferred.
    – A minimum of 8-12 years of experience as an independent executive coach
    – Ability to engender confidence in TAG brand, influence prospective coaches to want to be part of coaching team
    – Understand and be proficient in consultative selling. Being a good listener and prober of issues.
    – Writing skills with subject matter expertise in Executive Coaching and related leadership development space
    – Ability to build and grow relationships. Engender trust in a potential client to deliver quality services.
    – The ability to listen and focus on client goals, needs and budgetary realities
    – The ability to communicate effectively particularly with a potential leader who is evaluating you as a potential coach or consultant
    – Have subject matter expertise in the areas of leadership development, Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, etc.
    – Have some assessment certifications i.e.: Hogan, Lominger, CCL, EQ, Clark Wilson, PDI, etc.
    – Know how to manage the business side of coaching engagements

    Job Overview:
    The Sales Coach position will be responsible for the care and development of existing sales professionals that fail to sustain acceptable performance levels for their role. While this role will primarily be focused on tenured under-performing sales professionals there may be times when based on the needs of the business the Sales Coach will assist with certain new hires during their time of transition. Utilizing the BAE Playbook the Sales Coach will provide under-performing sales reps intense one-on-one coaching focused on skills development and reinforcement of desired behaviors that will aid the sales professional in achieving individual team and company goals. The Sales Coach s success will be judged by the degree in which under-performing sales professionals recover and increase and sustain productivity levels following their coaching engagement.

    Core Responsibilities:
    -Must be willing to travel throughout assigned market conducting side-by-side coaching and monitoring sessions working with sales leaders on sales initiatives and supporting sales through various programs and initiatives. -Work with assigned sales reps that are currently in or potentially heading into a performance plan. Will work with sales rep and their manager to assess skills gaps and using the BAE Playbook will develop an intensive personalized development plan designed to reintegrate the sales professional with the ability to contribute to the team with a higher level of sustained performance. -Candidates for coaching will be sales reps that fail to achieve 50% of assigned quota in any one given month. Coaching engagements will last for a period of 30 days after which the Sales Coach will return the sales professional to his/her team recommend additional coaching or suggest additional performance management actions.-Must be visible and active in the assigned market where under-performing sales professionals can benefit from one-on-one coaching in partnership with sales managers group training through video/conference calls etc.-Work with Sales Managers in development and administration of sales plans that reinforce proper coaching to sales professional during and immediately following their performance management period.-Must be able to create and manage an appropriate schedule to meet the needs of sales teams in assigned markets. Based on the needs of the business may also be assigned to assist in providing additional support to new hires that have moved beyond ramp period (line of demarcation between this role and CU new hire training).-Regularly review sales productivity reports to assess channel health and proactively consult with sales managers on ways to optimize sales performance.-Work closely with Comcast University counterparts to ensure continuity of classroom lead instruction and reinforce proper sales skills and behaviors in the field.

    Tasks:

    THE ROLE OF THE NEXTLEVEL RESULTS FACILITATOR

    +       Our Results Facilitators consult dentists and their teams, on how to implement our proprietary Complete Health Dentistry business model.

    +       Depending on your abilities, you will be responsible for 20-40 dental clients.

    +       You’ll be transforming dentists from being “problem fixers” to “complete health advocates” who are committed to delivering dentistry that makes a difference for their patients overall health.

    +       You’ll be delivering coaching using a combination of videoconferencing technology and live events (3-5 per year), to overcome barriers and beliefs holding back the natural results that lie in the practice already.

    +       You’ll be implementing NextLevel methodology using systems, tools and processes that deliver truly sustainable results.

    +       With your clients, you’ll be stating clear agreements with specific outcomes, and then measuring, monitoring and refining as needed to ensure results.
