Requirements for Health and Wellness Coach

Qualifications and Education:

  • Thorough knowledge of principle of behavior change
  • Energetic, positive individuals with excellent communication skills
  • Experience and proficiency with using Microsoft Office programs
  • Minimum of two years experience in health coaching, health promotion and wellness
  • Minimum of 4-year Bachelor Degree in Health Promotion, Health Science field
  • Additional qualifications considered an asset include:
  • — Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
