ICF’s Center for Workforce Research and Performance focuses on providing practical solutions to challenges in management, human capital, and organizational change for public and private sector clients. We are currently seeking both full and part-time leadership coaches whose primary duties will involve providing coaching to mid and senior-level Air Force leaders. Coaching services will be provided virtually, and as a result, those hired for these positions will not be required to relocate and may perform coaching services from their home/office location.

Preferred candidates should be certified coaches with current and or former military experience.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Provide coaching to mid through senior-level military and civilian leaders (including general officers)
Assist leaders in preparing for next higher level of leadership and/or addressing current challenges.
Assist leaders with interpretation of 360 assessment data as well as the identification of leader strengths and weaknesses
Assist leaders with development and implementation of individual development plans to both advance/build on strengths and address weaknesses/areas for improvement

Basic Qualifications:

Possess certification from the International Coach Federation or similar certifying body
BA or BS Degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
4+ years of experience as a Leadership or Executive Coach
U.S. veteran

Skills/Experience:

Experience using and administrating a 360 assessment
Experience managing or playing key role in leadership development and coaching programs
Experience serving as a Leadership or Executive Coach for senior military leaders
U.S. Veteran

Professional Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude
Strong oral communication skills to clearly articulate ideas and engage others
Ability and access to facilitate meetings through video conference or web conference technologies
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment under strict deadlines
Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy
Flexibility to handle multiple priorities and to work limited overtime as necessary
Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, outside clients, and vendors
Ability and interest in learning new software tools and in transferring knowledge
Ability and willingness to develop and deliver presentations
Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
